Shakira and Gerard Pique had a good week celebrating baby boy Milan's birthday. They also made sure to commemorate it on Twitter. Seeing how Shakira released her new song for Zootopia, "Try Everything", she might have also sung that for her baby boy for his birthday!
According to her Twitter, she wrote, "Thank you so much for all the birthday messages and videos sent to celebrate Milan's birthday! You made us very happy!"
Sounds like Shakira is very proud of her young, but fast growing family with Gerard Pique!
Her new song "Try Everything" has been gaining momentum as well. According to Just Jared, "Shakira is set to voice Gazelle in Disney's upcoming Zootopia and she's now giving fans a first look at the video for "Try Everything," a song she recorded just for the movie."
But that doesn't mean that the start of 2016 has been entirely smooth for Shakira. She had to endure some derogatory banners about her during Gerard Pique's game. According to ESPN FC, "Barcelona mayor Ada Colau has slammed Espanyol fans for displaying a derogatory banner targeting pop star Shakira in Barcelona's 2-0 Copa del Rey win on Wednesday."
The article reports that "During Wednesday's second leg, Espanyol supporters responded by unfurling a banner reading "Shakira es de todos" (Shakira is everyone's), incensing the city's female mayor Colau."
But that didn't seem to shake "Try Everything" singer. She has not posted about it on her Instagram nor Twitter page. Looks like she is handling this as little battle that she does not care to fight.
Recently Shakira and Gerard Pique got romantic right before the end of 2015 in Paris. Being new parents, they chose not to leave behind their baby boys Milan and Sasha as they walked the streets of Paris.
According to Daily Mail, "Shakira and her partner Gerard Piqué bundled up in matching black to spend Christmas evening in Paris with their eldest son Milan and friends... At one point, Shakira squatted down to dote on her adorable boy - who turns 2 next month - cloaked in a hooded winter coat in his pram."
Sounds like the start to 2016 was also wholesome and beautiful for Shakira and Gerard.
