Ryan Gosling "can handle" a lot of things - rearing his baby girl, marriage pressure coming from Eva Mendes and the Oscar snub for his performance in "The Big Short". Despite all these pressures and issues, Ryan Gosling has been able to keep a cool head as he navigates what it means to be new dad as well as a Hollywood actor.
According to the Hamilton Spectator, "The Big Short" actor said, "My biggest investment is my family. I'm with the person I'm supposed to be with - I'm not looking for anything else beyond Eva - and I feel very lucky that we have a beautiful, healthy daughter, who is an angel. That's investment enough for me."
He added, "Being a dad isn't rocket science - I can handle it."
Sounds like "The Big Short" actor has enough confidence to move on from Oscar snub as well as many more challenges and blessings in his life.
Ryan Gosling experienced Oscar snub this year for his performance in "The Big Short". This made his "Lost River" actress Saoirse Ronan very angry - but she managed to avoid an Oscar snub for herself though!
In fact, the young actress sang praises about Ryan Gosling to everyone that would hear. According to Vanity Fair, Saoirse Ronan said, "He's like, Jesus or something, like a blond Canadian Jesus."
But this Oscar snub means that Ryan Gosling will have more time to think about proposing to his baby mama Eva Mendes. She has been hinting at marriage all through 2015, it may be time that Ryan Gosling whips out the big rock to prove his love.
The rumor has been that Eva Mendes wants more than he does to be in a marriage. According to OK! Magazine, "If there isn't an engagement ring for Eva Mendes under the Christmas tree this year, then Ryan Gosling is spending the holiday alone! The actress has given her baby daddy until Christmas to propose because she's waited long enough to have a ring on her finger!"
