Dakota Johnson may had training from her parents so that she could succeed in "Fifty Shades" franchise performance. But that doesn't mean that she has what it takes to have successful relationships with boyfriends like Matthew Hitt.
The fact that she is single now means that her parents may have had something to do with it.
"I was around for a lot of it and I would watch them," Dakota Johnson said according to Marie Claire. "But there were also things I could see that I didn't want to, like watch my parents have sex with other people. And there was a scene where my mom got slapped in the face. I lost my mind! I couldn't deal with that at all."
Having these traumatic experiences may mean that she might be able to handle "Fifty Shades" sex scenes, but not when things get serious in relationships.
Recently, Dakota Johnson debuted her new blonde locks, possibly to get her mind off her ex boyfriend Matthew Hitt. Also the fact that "Fifty Shades" filming got pushed back also means that she needs a good (blonde) distraction more than ever.
"Dakota has appeared at many events recently with noticeably highlighted strands; her latest hair debut shows that she's decided to go full-on ombré," according to Teen Vogue.
With this new hair, Dakota Johnson may be feeling the power to take on the world, "Fifty Shades" gig or not.
She even managed to gracefully covered up her wardrobe malfunction moment with a tribute to David Bowie. According to USA Today, "The well-meaning presenter accidentally "broke" Johnson's dress as she tried to congratulate Dakota on the award for favorite dramatic movie actress at the People's Choice Awards. In response, the Fifty Shades of Grey star turned about 50 shades of red, but she took the wardrobe malfunction in stride, saying, "Well, it's not like nobody here hasn't already seen my boobs.""
To cover this incident up, according to Just Jared, "Dakota took to her Instagram to share a vintage snap of her parents Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson with David and his wife Iman."
She wrote on her Instagram, "Let all the children boogie."
Recently Dakota Johnson has been reaping all sorts of success after breaking up with ex Matthew Hitt. Ever since her "50 Shades of Grey" premiere, Dakota Johnson has been bracing for the big moment, and now that is here.
