'Expendables 4' Movie Release Date And Casting News: "The Expendables 4" is expected to hit the silver screen in 2017. According to rumors, Sylvester Stallone is rumored to be leaving the franchise and WWE wrestlers are going to be cast. All three previous movies starred Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, and Terry Crews.
Slash Film reported that the "The Expendables 4" is now in development and speculated to hit the big screen by 2017.
"I have to say, with Sly, I think it looks like he's going to get an Oscar," Terry Crews told Slash Film. "It's a matter of whether he'll be in it. If he got the Golden Globe, he got the Oscar, there's a lot more things that are going to be offered to him, but if Sly is in it, I'm in."
Terry Crews is one of the main characters that has been in all The Expendables movies. Terry Crews, who played the role of Hale Caesar in "The Expendables" told Slash Films that Stallone might be too busy making the upcoming "Creed 2."
"He might. He might, but whatever Sly says I'm doing. He's like my dad," Crews told Slash Films.
"He's literally my dad in the business. If Sly's like, 'I'm out of this thing,' I don't see myself doing it."
There were rumors that WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin would appear in the fourth movie installment. Austin told on Opie Radio that he’d heard the rumors himself and that he also wasn’t killed off in the first movie.

Reports are saying that Hulk Hogan will be taking Stallone's role, who already expressed his interest to join the crew.
