Excitement for the upcoming "My Hero Academia" anime continues to build as two new character designs for the series have been revealed on the official website. The new character designs, available to view below, feature the characters of Denki Kaminari (who will be voiced by Tasuku Hatanaka) and Eijiro Kirishima (who will be voiced by Ryoga Kamishiro).
So far, fans in an ANN forum are continuing to get excited for the "My Hero Academia" anime series.
"Every time they release a new character design I get more hyped about this series, these recent ones haven't been as impressive as the first ones but they still look nice. Bones has been releasing really good shows since 2014 and this year seems to be no exception. I can't wait for this show to come out," said Sergio-san.
According to Crunchyroll, the "My Hero Academia" anime series will be directed by Kenji Nagasaki. Yousuke Kuroda will handle the scripts for the series and Yoshiko Umakoshi will provide the character designs.
"My Hero Academia" was originally a manga series by Kohei Horikoshi. The series is currently running in Weekly Shonen Jump. Viz Media is simultaneously publishing the chapters and released the first volume of the manga in August.
The story of "My Hero Academia" is described by Viz Media as follows:
"Middle school student Izuku Midoriya wants to be a hero more than anything, but he hasn't got an ounce of power in him. With no chance of ever getting into the prestigious U.A. High School for budding heroes, his life is looking more and more like a dead end. Then an encounter with All Might, the greatest hero of them all, gives him a chance to change his destiny."
The "My Hero Academia" anime is set to be released sometime in April.
