Suki Waterhouse may be gunning for a new movie role in the upcoming cinematic rendition of “Cats” by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Having just premiered “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies”, Suki Waterhouse must be getting impatient to set her sights on something much bigger.
“Suki Waterhouse is reportedly wanted to star in a movie version of the 'Cats' musical to be directed with Tom Hooper,” according to TV3.
The same article also reports that “Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber's famous show is coming to the big screen with Tom Hooper - who was responsible for making the 'Les Misérables' film - in line to direct. And top of Hooper's casting wishlist for the film - being developed by Universal Studios - is model-turned-actress Waterhouse.”
But it looks like Suki Waterhouse can’t seem to leave behind the iffy feeling that her ex boyfriend Bradley Cooper left her for another model, Irina Shayk. So whether consciously or unconsciously, Suki has been acting competitive, appearing in lingerie ads like Irina has.
“She's hot property in the modelling world. And Suki Waterhouse proved why, as she shared sexy snaps on Instagram posing in white silk lingerie for a LOVE magazine photoshoot,” according to Daily Mail.
Her foray into lingerie world increased after her parting of ways with Oscar-nominated actor. Maybe she wants to show him what he’s missing out on!
And with the new movie version of “Cats” looming in the horizon, Suki Waterhouse may even be looking for an Oscar herself!
The model-turned-actress had an excellent opportunity on “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” to let her breakup anger out through all the violence.
She revealed at an interview that all her favorite scenes of “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” had some violence in it. She said, according to Collider, “I enjoy all of the fighting stuff the most actually because it’s the longest takes. You’re smashing into each other, we’ve got bruises everywhere, you don’t really know if you’re gonna step on someone’s leg or arm. You kind of accidentally spike people.”
Sounds like “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” gave her plenty of time to blow out any residual anger towards the actor.
Do you think Suki will score a role in “Cats” by Andrew Lloyd Webber?
