Shakira Hips Don’t Lie On ‘Zootopia’, Adds Gerard Pique Approved Curves To Fight Body Image

Shakira’s hips don’t lie on the upcoming Disney movie “Zootopia”. The Colombian singer added curves to her character in “Zootopia” to combat the skinny that seems to dominate women’s body image strifes. At least these curves are approved by Shakira and Gerard Pique!

“It looked to me like she needed more hips [and] I asked them to give her more,” Shakira said according to Billboard. “And they did it!”

The addition of hips to her “Zootopia” character hints towards Shakira making an effort to make feminine characters on screen much more realistic and curvier. Good thing that her hips don’t lie!

The singer recently celebrated her 39th birthday with her handsome partner Gerard Pique and equally good looking baby boys. Judging by the way Shakira flooded her Instagram with her loved ones show that her family, Gerard Pique and baby boys are everything to her.

“The Colombian singer celebrated her 39th birthday by reminding us all how glowing she is without a drop of makeup on, posting a picture of her "birthday bun" on her official social media accounts,” according to USA Today.

The couple also marked their baby boy Milan’s birthday the week before.

She wrote on her Twitter, “Thank you so much for all the birthday messages and videos sent to celebrate Milan's birthday! You made us very happy!”

Sounds like Shakira is very proud of her young, but fast growing family with Gerard Pique!

By making sure that her hips don’t lie in the next movie, Shakira has also released a new song, “Try Everything”.

“Shakira is set to voice Gazelle in Disney’s upcoming Zootopia and she’s now giving fans a first look at the video for “Try Everything,” a song she recorded just for the movie,” according to Just Jared.

Recently Shakira and Gerard Pique got romantic right before the end of 2015 in Paris. Being new parents, they chose not to leave behind their baby boys Milan and Sasha as they walked the streets of Paris.

Happy birthday to Shakira!
