Michael Fassbender confessed his insecurities about the future that may involve his current girlfriend Alicia Vikander. Despite the fact that “The Light Between Oceans”, the movie that brought Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander together has finally gotten a release date, it doesn’t seem to ease the uncertainty in the actor’s mind.
“Disney has set an awards-season release date of Sept. 2 in the U.S. for the drama “The Light Between Oceans,” starring Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander and Rachel Weisz,” according to Variety.
Along with the announcement of “The Light Between Oceans” release date, the German-Irish actor confessed that he is unwilling to have firm belief that things in the future, including his relationship with Alicia Vikander, will work out without a hitch.
“I’m very aware that things are going very well for me today, but that doesn’t mean things will be like that tomorrow,” he said according to Irish Independent. “Who knows what might happen in the future? I’ll just take it beat-by-beat, find good stories, good directors to work with. That’s it, really. Whatever happens outside of that is out of my control.”
To take some action, Alicia Vikander made sure to lose her boyfriend Michael Fassbender at this year’s SAG Awards. She won SAG Awards for Best Supporting Actress, beating out her boyfriend’s co-star Kate WInslet to snag the trophy.
“Alicia went solo at the ceremony as her boyfriend Michael Fassbender was not able to make it though he is nominated tonight. His Steve Jobs co-star Kate Winslet revealed on the red carpet that he wouldn’t be in attendance,” according to Just Jared.
Sounds like Alicia had a fine time at SAG Awards 2016 without Michael Fassbender
This year, Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander are in a unique position. Not only are they romantically involved, but they are also both nominated for Oscars. Michael and Alicia made their relationship public at the Golden Globes, which just shows how much of a power couple they both are.
In leading up to Oscar 2016, Alicia Vikander is doing very well for herself.
“Alicia Vikander took home the coveted award in 2016 for her role in ‘The Danish Girl,’ and it couldn’t be more deserved,” according to Hollywood Life.
At least Alicia Vikander is getting some practice in giving winning speeches. On the other hand, Michael Fassbender hasn’t yet won anything for ‘Steve Jobs’.
