Novak Djokovic is an adoring husband for his wife Jelena Ristic and father for his baby and he didn't forget to show off his love on Valentine's Day. On Twitter, the world number one proved to the world that it's his love that keeps him on top of his game.
Back home in Serbia, Novak Djokovic uploaded a selfie with his wife and captioned it on Twitter, "Love is a powerful source of energy, motivation and inspiration. Love yourself, your family&friends, love your life!"
Novak and Jelena looked as much in love as they did before their baby came along.
Meanwhile, the world number one is training hard to overthrow Roger Federer as the all-time champion in the Open Era. Many media outlets have expressed that Novak Djokovic is not far from the dominance that Roger Federer enjoyed. Maybe his wife Jelena Ristic and baby will inspire him to double his success.
The world number one wrote on his Twitter, "That feeling of coming back to your country.... #proud #excited #Serbia #BelgradeAirport #NikolaTesla."
That definitely sounds like a man that is ready to face his greatest rival, Roger Federer. And he isn't very far off from catching up to the Swiss in terms of Grand Slam wins and tennis domination.
"Novak Djokovic's recent win at the Australian Open... signaled the historic beginning of his drive to equal or surpass Roger Federer as the all-time men's Grand Slam singles champion," according to ESPN.
Like Roger, Novak Djokovic gives credits to his new wife Jelena Ristic for his success. With his family giving him a lot of support, the world number one will go down in history as one of the most successful tennis players ever.
