"Scream Queens" Season 2: Emma Roberts is officially returning to her role as bitchy Chanel Oberlin for season two of the Ryan Murphy-produced Fox series Scream Queens. "Scream Queens" season 2 will take place at a spooky hospital.
We haven't yet seen the last of Chanel Oberlin. Emma Roberts revealed that the end to season one of Scream Queens was just a smokescreen.
"Yeah, Chanel is back!" Roberts said during the Ralph Lauren Polo presentation at New York's Fashion Week,. "I'm so excited for season two of Scream Queens because I can only imagine what the writers have in store for Chanel."
Actress Keke Palmer, who played the role of Zayday Williams in the show's first season, said that Zayday should definitely be in season 2.
"Zayday, we need to come back second season," Palmer said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
"I haven't gotten any word yet, but hopefully Zayday is coming back, 'cause come on! 'Scream Queens' gotta have Zayday Williams."
Jamie Lee Curtis (Cathy Munsch) and Lea Michele (Hester Ulrich) will also be returning. Fox Co-Chairman Dana Walden teased that the other notable characters from the previous run could return.Curtis plays the dean of the university where Emma Roberts, Keke Palmer, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Nick Jonas, Ariana Grande and Skyler Samuels are matriculating.
it is not yet official if the rest of the Chanels are set to return. There is no word on Billie Lourd, Carrie Fisher's real-life daughter, or Niecy Nash. Ariana Grande also starred in the first season of Scream Queens,
There has been no official announcement of a season 2 release date for "Scream Queens."

Emma Roberts recently signed on to FX's American Horror Story Season 5 and will star on Scream Queens.
Roberts was previously featured in the anthology series' "Coven" and "Freak Show" installments. Roberts will star in "Scream Queens" season 1, which also comes from Murphy. Production is expected to wrap in October.
