There's been great news recently for Yaoi fans with the release of the "Super Lovers" anime coming in April.
Now it appears that Yuri fans area also getting good news, even if the wait is for longer than a year.
According to reports, the "Bloom Into You" manga series has just been licensed for release in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment. The company will release the first volume on January 3, 2017.
So far, fans are responding to the announcement with excitement if a bit of sadness that the release date is so far away.
"Seven Seas licenses 'Bloom Into You' Yuri manga yay! January 2017? Aww. Such a shame that licensing has like a one year lead time," said Blackice85.
The "Bloom Into You" manga series was created by Nio Nakatani and was launched in April 2015 in Kadokawa's "Monthly Comic Dengeki Daio." The Yuri or Girls-love manga series printed its first volume in October 2015.
For those not familiar with the series, Seven Seas Entertainment describes the story of "Bloom Into You" as follows:
"Yuu has always loved shoujo manga and awaits the day she gets a love confession that sends her heart aflutter with bubbles and blushes, and yet when a junior high classmate confesses his feelings to her...she feels nothing."
It goes on:
"Disappointed and confused, Yuu enters high school still unsure how to respond. That's when Yuu sees the beautiful student council president Nanami turn down a suitor with such maturity that she's inspired to ask her for help. But when the next person to confess to Yuu is Nanami herself, has her shoujo romance finally begun?"
