South Korean hip-hop artist Tablo previously announced that he would be releasing new music in 2016 last month.
On Feb. 17, he broke his silence on the matter in a short tweet to his fans, stating, "Epik High is working on Pieces, Part Two."
The Epik High frontman then uploaded a short clip on his Instagram with the caption, "New song." The audio snippet only lasted a few seconds, giving a momentary glimpse into the album.
The award comes less than a month after an unreleased Epik High album, "Feast," won an award for best design at the 2016 iF Product Design Awards in Germany.
Although the unreleased album "Feast" won an award, Epik High stated that the upcoming album would be titled, "Pieces, Part Two," giving fans hope that the group will released more than one album in 2016.
"Pieces, Part One" is Epik High's fifth album that was released in 2008, nearly eight years ago.
In addition, Tablo tweeted earlier this month saying, "Writing songs every day." and in another saying, "It'd be easy to release a new album if we threw every song we made into it. But you deserve so much more," reassuring them that the group's next album will be of high-quality.
The group's previous album, "Shoebox," was released in 2014, to critical acclaim.
