G-Friend Continue To Sweep Network Music Shows

The G-Friend fever rages on as the girl group claimed yet another music show win on Inkigayo for their currently promoted song "Rough," reports The Korea Herald.

G-Friend's victory on the February 21 episode of Inkigayo marks their 12th overall win for the title track to their Snowflake mini album, having racked up 2 wins on Inkigayo, 2 on The Show, 2 on Show! Champion, 3 wins on M! Countdown and 3 wins on Music Bank.

G-Friend has gained increasing attention as possibly the next girl group to make it big due to the massive success of "Rough," which reportedly remains the top song on popular South Korean online music store MelOn.

The pronouncement of the six-member girl group's ascendancy also comes amid the tough competition they have been defeating to claim number one such as Girls' Generation leader Kim Taeyeon's "Rain."

The music video for "Rough" has also reached past 10 million views since its release on January 24.

G-Friend fans have been praising the track's catchy beat and energetic dance moves, as well as the members cute personalities.

"The song is amazing and the choreography blew me away... they're so pretty and cute," said YouTube user Roro Sung on the comments section of the "Rough" music video.
