Bethesda recently announced a multiplayer closed beta test for "Doom," Tech Times reported.
According to the report, the closed beta will commence on March 31 at 10 p.m. EST and will close by April 3 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
Bethesda said in order for players to participate, they need to have the "Doom" Beta Codes which are included in the "Wolfstein: New Order" game. Before March 31, they should receive an e-mail from Bethesda containing these codes. Specific instructions for different consoles are available so players can be able to retrieve the codes whichever platform they are using.
Tech Times added the closed beta will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC and players across the globe who are familiar with the following languages will be able to participate: English, Italian, French, German, Polish, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Russian and Brazilian Portuguese.
Aside from these codes, players also need to meet the minimum machines requirements to enjoy the game at an optimum. According to Hot Hardware, the following minimum specifications are needed to play "Doom."
According to Bethesda, in order to play "Doom" at 720p, you'll need at least the following: An Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 processor, an 8GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 (2GB)/AMD Radeon HD 7870 (2GB), up to 22GB of storage, Windows 10/8.1/7 at 64-bit, a Steam account and a broadband Internet connection.
On the other hand, in order to participate in the closed beta at 1080p resolution, Bethesda recommends the CPU to upgrade to an Intel Core i7-3770 / AMD FX-8350 CPU, or better, and the graphics card to have at least an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (4GB) / AMD Radeon R9 290 at 4GB.
The report further elaborated that players will be able to run around the game using two maps, namely, Heatwave and Infernal, and two multiplayer modes, a 6v6 Team Deathmatch and Warpatch.
"Doom" is set for release on May 13, 2016.
