A trailer for the "Mob Psycho 100" anime has been released. According to Crossmap, ONE's new series is set to air its first episode this coming fall.
The "Mob Psycho 100" anime got the attention of fans around the globe due to the fact that the creator of this upcoming anime is ONE-- the same person who created one of the most iconic anime of last year, "One Punch Man."
While anime fans are waiting for the "One Punch Man" season 2 release date, the upcoming anime adaptation of ONE's "Mob Psycho 100" will surely be worth watching.
Anime News Network presented the trailer and the translated texts shown in it. Setsuo Itō will take on the role of Shigeo "Mob" Kageyama while Takahiro Sakurai voices Arataka Reigen.
The "Mob Psycho 100" anime will be produced by BONES, who also produced "Fullmetal Alchemist," "Eureka Seven," "Space Dandy" and "Blood Blockade Battlefront."
It will be directed by Yuzuru Tachikawa ("Death Parade"). Hiroshi Seko ("Ajin") is the series script supervisor. Character design is by Yoshimichi Kameda, who also served as "One Punch Man's" animation director. The sound director is Kazuhiro Wakabayashi ("Eureka Seven," "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex" and "Soul Eater").
The "Mob Psycho 100" anime release date has been confirmed for this year. The manga is now running in Shogakukan's comic app MangaOne. Volumes 1-11 is now on sale, too.
"When he hits 100%, something happens," the trailer stated.
The upcoming "Mob Psycho 100" revolves around "Mob," a guy who explodes if his emotional capacity hits 100 percent. This guy got his nickname because he does not stand out at all and conceals his psychic powers so he can exist in his world as a normal person but, whenever his emotional level hits 100 percent, something weird happens to his body.
According to the translated texts, "Mob Psycho 100" will premiere in 2016.
