Chicago Bulls Trade Rumors: Jimmy Butler Orlando Magic Bound? Celtics Making A Push As Well

The Chicago Bulls are in the brink of missing this year's playoffs thanks to a plethora of injuries and team chemistry issues. With that said, it seems like the bulls are on their way to another major overhaul this off-season.

According to Bleacher Report, the Bulls are listening to offers for All-Star guard Jimmy Butler. According to reports, the Magic and the Celtics are the frontrunners to land his services.

"But I also believe that we probably have to be coached a lot harder at times. I'm sorry," Butler said in an interview last December. "I know Fred's a laid-back guy and I really respect him for that, but when guys aren't doing what they're supposed to do, you got to get on guys. Myself included. You got to do what you're supposed to do when you're out there playing basketball."

Orlando would be an interesting trade partner as their roster is full of young assets that have the potential to be stars. The Magic can offer Nicola Vucevic, Victor Oladipo, Aaron Gordon, Mario Hezonja or Elfrid Payton.

The Celtics, meanwhile, is in the same boat as the Magic as they also boast a long list of assets including draft picks that can be proven valuable in the upcoming draft. They own Brooklyn's first round pick which is expected to go in the top five, plus they have an All-Star in Isaiah Thomas and other assets like Avery Bradley, Kelly Olynyk and more.

The Bulls have a loaded frontline in Pau Gasol, Joakim Noah, Nikola Mirotic and Bobby Portis which might force them to look at a guard who will instantly replace Butler. Should that be the case, they might ask for Magic's Oladipo.
