The recent trailer for "Captain America: Civil War" was released just right after the season-ender episode of "The Walking Dead," The Inquisitr reported.
The 30-second footage features several superheroes set to appear first time in the upcoming movie. According to the new trailer released, the additional Marvel Cinematic Universe movie will feature a first time face-off between Captain America and Black Panther, which could probably be more than special since both heroes uses the same element in their weapons--Vibranium. It's Vibranium claws for Chadwick Boseman's character against Chris Evan's Vibranium shield.
What do you think would happen as they fight?
In the trailer, Captain America struggles as Black Panther's claws screeches into his shield, the former being left in shock. It's no surprise that Black Panther possesses this kind of material as vibranium is very abundant in his hometown in Wakanda.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, co-director Anthony Russo described Black Panther's suit as "medieval chain mail," while Boseman described it as "dynamic."
In Boseman's interview, the actor explained, "It's not just about being durable, it has the ability to absorb energy. It's not just like you hit it and it doesn't take it. It has the ability to absorb the attack of another person and repel or respond to that attack. That's part of the power."
Compared to the previous trailers, the 30-second video included expanded conversations between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers in what seemed to be like a disagreement on how they should act as superheroes. This conversation could be one of the reasons why a split between the team was urged
Boseman's character is set to debut in the "Captain America: Civil War" movie on May 6.
Meanwhile, his solo movie "The Black Panther" directed by Ryan Coogler is set for release on July 6, 2018.
