In a report by Express, Mcfarlane Toys, the official partner of EA in producing "Titanfall 2" figures, confirmed some time in February that a new version of the game is set for release this year.
The report stated that the new game and official figures will be released in Winter of 2016. In an official statement released by the company it said: "McFarlane [Toys] was created so I could make cool stuff just like this. Without saying too much about the new game... You're not going to believe where we can take this."
Alongside this statement, Electronic Arts Game responded via Game Spot: "MacFarlane Toys will be releasing toys inspired by "Titanfall" in Winter of 2016. We have yet to provide a release date for the next "Titanfall" experience from Respawn."
In the same report, writer Jesse Stern assured that the upcoming game will be better in terms of how they will be delivering the role of the player.
"One of the shortcomings of the first game was we just did not have the mechanism to tell everyone 'Here's who you are, here's where you are and who's around you'. We knew all the answers, we just could not deliver it," said Stern in a Forbes interview.
Furthermore, he added some information regarding the setting of the upcoming game.
"We imagined the next generation of immigrants moving out to the new frontier of an inhabitable planet," confirms Stern.
"Titanfall 2" is expected to be launched in PC, PS4 and Xbox One in the fiscal year of 2017, GamePur reported. This report has been backed up by a report from Trusted Reviews as it confirmed that "Titanfall 2" will become available before April 2017.
As of now, anticipating fans should wait little longer as the game is confirmed to be released from April 2016 to April 2017. Respawn Entertainment is already working on the follow-up title to this new game.
