Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Review: The Best Smartphone Ever Made?

Water resistant, expandable memory of up to 200 GB, smart design, dual-pixel technology, fast wireless charging, improved battery capability-these are only some of the features of the new Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung's new flagship device.

Launched alongside Samsung Galaxy S7, the S7 edge sports a larger screen size of 5.5", making it 0.4" larger than the former.

Powered by the latest Android OS, the Android Marshmallow will enable this new device to utilize lesser battery power from unused apps with its improved battery capacity of up to 3,600 mAH.

Having a Quad HD AMOLED display, the S7 Edge will be able to display with superb color quality with its 2,560 x 1,440 display.

An internal memory of 32 GB isn't that bad, but Samsung provided their consumers another option to further the S7 edge's memory by allowing it to be expanded with a micro SD of up to 200 GB capacity.

Though with a lesser megapixel count, the S7 Edge boasts around 12 MP for its rear camera. According to NY Daily News, in terms of performance, its rear camera is able to produce impressive photos and also features effective night photo capturing, optical image stabilization and a multitude of photo-editing tools.

Since water-resistant devices are on trend during this time, Samsung continued to produce a water resistant "Edge" phone with S7. Having an IP Rating of 68, the Galaxy S7 Edge can last up to 30 minutes of use underwater and up to a depth of 5 feet of water.

Another feature that other android manufacturers has to beat yet is Samsung's fast wireless charging, according to the Samsung's Official website, consumers can charge their phone from zero to 100% percent in no time through the use of this technology.
