After two years since "Toukiden: Kiwami," another installment is already geared up for June 30 launching in Japan. Although a North American and European release date has not been set yet, it is expected that Koei Tecmo will be preparing for these releases as well.
Aside from the upcoming release of its latest installment, additional features are expected to arrive such as the limited edition "Treasure Box," an art book, original soundtrack, nine character illustrations, and DLC for exclusive armor, Hard Core Gamer reported.
The same report also stated that a demo for Playstation 4 was already made available last April 11 in Japan and an upcoming demo for Playstation Vita is expected as well. This demo will be announced by Koei Tecmo as soon as available.
According to the report, returning characters is set to appear in "Toukiden 2." Its character editor believes that a lot of improvements has already been made in this upcoming game in terms of ornament, body, voice, contour and weapon options. In general, there will be six areas of exploration where areas from the previous game were still included.
Players need not to worry as they will be able to do data transfer using the save data feature of "Toukiden: Kiwami" and "Toukiden: Age of Demon" wherein they will be able to connect any data previously generated by the first installment.
In addition, anime and manga fans will be glad to know that the promotional Toukiden 2 manga and anime are already on going which will be produced by STUDIO4℃ (Berserk: The Golden Arc, Halo Legends), Hard Core Gamer reported. This manga will be introduced starting June 27 in the Dengeki Maou.
"Toukiden: Kiwami" is set to launch in different platforms of Playstation 4, Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita.
