Apple failed to release the highly-anticipated iPhone 7 last year, instead, the Cupertino company decided to release iPhone SE, tagged as "the most powerful 4‑inch phone ever."
Now, many are wondering as to when Apple will release its latest mobile device.
According to Mirror, iPhone 7 release date will most likely come out in September this year, judging by the history on how the giant mobile company tends to make its new releases.
The bigger question now is, what changes could tech savvy expect in the upcoming new model?
According to The Week, when Apple finally decides to announce the release date of iPhone 7, it is expected to bring along big changes with it.
However, the publication noted that while the Cupertino-based company will most likely introduce new technology when it comes to hardware, design and software specifications, it may not be as big as what many are expecting.
But so far as the rumor goes, the new iPhone 7 will have the same dimensions as with the previously release iPhone 6s, according to a leak reported by uSwitch.
Apparently, there's not much to expect when it comes to the design of the new mobile devices, like a subtle and better-positioned antenna bands as compared to iPhone 6 and 6s.
However, the most interesting rumor when it comes to the design is the no headphone jack. There are ongoing talks that Apple may finally drop the 3.5mm post, which will leave users to use wireless Bluetooth pair or headphones that attaches to the lightning port.
When it comes to display, MacRumors suggested that there's nothing much to be expected with the iPhone 7, with the exception of probably having a True Tone, a color temperature shifting feature that is available on the iPad Pro.
The most exciting upgrade iPhone 7 is rumored to have is with its camera. Apparently, Apple will finally bring a dual-camera system to the upcoming mobile device.
It's worth mentioning though that Apple is not the pioneer of this feature, if ever, River smartphone, Huawei P9 and LG G5 all have dual-camera systems in their specs.
As expected, though, Apple is said to come up with a more powerful processor for the iPhone 7 once it hits the market. According to PC Advisor, the device will most likely be equipped with Apple's A10 processor chipset together with the M10 motion co-processor.
While many are excited with the possible upgrades for the upcoming iPhone 7, there's always the thought that Apple is planning to provide more revision with the mark of its mobile device's tenth year in the business, which is happening next year.
