Akdong Musician has returned to Korea after a brief travel to Mongolia where their family resides. With the news of the sensational teenage siblings' arrival, everyone is keeping an ear out for their next moves as they have yet to select their management company following their winning 'K-Pop Star 2.'

At the press conference held just before the siblings departed for Mongolia,  they shared their thoughts: "There are definitely concerns that we might lose our unique colors if we end up at one of the three major companies in JYP, SM and YG. But we do not think that is necessarily true. We kept our style of music during the training process on the show while working with all three companies. I do not think that will be a problem."

Chan Hyuk stated upon his arrival, "We are putting a great deal of thought and consideration into making this decision. We are listening to different perspectives from many of those who are close to us." Regarding what he and Soo Hyun are considering as the most important of all factors, he responded, "We want to choose a company that will wrestle with our music in love. Also, a place where we will learn and be filled in where we lack."

Soo Hyun commented, "Because we have been trained at all three companies, we know the upsides of them all. That is why the decision is a hard one to make. SM is modern, YG is cool and JYP is like family. They are all different, not necessarily one better than the other."
