Cube Entertainments newest boy group has finally made their debut with "gorilla" music video. Last night, midnight KST, Cube Entertainment has dropped the official music video of "Gorilla".
The music video started with one of the members running in what it looks like parking lot. Then, the music started and the members were shown in a pentagon shaped cage and in an all white room.
The music video is very much your typical kpop video where the members are dancing then some solo shots then some group shots. There are also black and white shots. Not much for a debut especially from Cube. Music wise, the beat is really addictive. The members are definitely talented as there are members who rap and sing.
The music video showcases the members' great and synchronized dancing skills. It also showcased the rapping skills of the rappers. It is more on the hip hop side like almost every other boy group out in kpop. Soompi reported that the ten-member boy group showed their rapping, vocal, and dancing skills through the music video.
According to Allkpop, the group's mini album is titled 'Pentagon'. It contains 7 songs, more songs than a usual mini album in Kpop. The songs include "Wake Up" (the intro), "Pentagon", "Gorilla" (title song), "Lukewarm", "Smile", "Block My Ears" and "You Are".
Cube is known to have amazing and talented boy groups like Beast and BtoB. This time, Pentagon is not any different. The group consists of Hui, Yeo One, Hongseok, Kino, Wooseok, Jinho, Yuto, E 'Dawn, Yan An and Shinwon.
They were from a reality show, "Pentagon Maker". They gained fans from that reality show as the boys showcased their skills and talent there.
If you are not familiar with them, it is time to get to know the group! Watch their debut music video below and comment what you like!
