Seo Kang-Joon looks dazzling in the series of trailers tvN new drama “Entourage.” The drama has scored a surprising record before it even airs. But can he make a successful comeback after “Cheese in the Trap” ending that made many fans turn against him.
The protvN held a press conference on Nov, 25 in Imperial Palace Hotel, Gangnam, Seoul as reported by Hanguk Ilbo. The press conference was held to offcially introduce the casts of “Entourage” which to be premiere on Nov. 4 as a Friday and Saturday night drama on tvN. At the press conference, actors Seo Kang-joon Cho Jin-Woong, Lee Kwang-Soo, Yi Dong-Hwi and Park Jung-Min appeared, along with the director Jang Young-Woo,
“Entourage” is the third project for director Jang after he directed two sequels of “I Need Romance” drama.
Meanwhile this will become the comeback for Seo after “Cheese in the Trap” which put him under fire from Park Hae-Jin’s fans. In that drama, director Lee Yoon-Jung changes the written script abruptly to put him on the focus of the story instead of Park as the the main lead. As a result, Seo was put in the corner and many fans disliked him. Therefore, “Entourage” will be a very good chance for Seo to redeem himself.
Seo is actively promoting “Entourage.” He recently appears on the cover of China’s edition of Bazaar fashion magazine. He also appear in the photoshoot of the Elle magazine Korea as reported by KPop Herald. He also shared his story before become famous after his debut in 2013.
“My life hasn‘t changed that much after I debuted, except for people recognizing me,” he said.
Prior to its debut, “Entourage” has made a record to be air in 12 different countries in Asia. They are Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar and Australia.
