The new single “Love Story” is written by Yoo Young-jin, according to Zenith News. The song is selected because it will showcase the powerful vocal combination of Bada, Eugene and Shoo.

S.E.S was an acronym of the name of the members Bada (바다, means ‘sea’ in English), Eugene and Shoo. The group was formed in 1997, when founder of SM Entertainment Lee Soo-Man saw Bada sing in a performance.

Lee then contacted Bada, the daughter of a trot (Korean folk song) singer Choi Sae-wol and offered her a contract. He scouted two other singers and found Kim Yoo-Jin (Eugene) and Yoo Soo-Young (Shoo) to create a trio and called them S.E.S.

The group is very successful in the 1990’s and early 2000’s until they broke up in 2002. S.E.S tried to make several comebacks but all were unsuccessful.

Eugene is now married to actor Ki Tae-Young with a daughter Ro-Hee, and Shoo married a former pro-basketball Im Hyo-Sung with one son and twin daughters. Bada continued her singing career and is regarded as one of the best singers in Korea.
