L has been confirmed to starr in the newest historical drama, 'Ruler: Master of the Mask'! Trading in his trademark black clothes for a hanbok and long hair, L plays the role of Lee Sun, a peasant who pretends to be a king.
Joining the already exciting cast is, 'Let's Fight Ghost' star Kim So Hyun, who plays the leading lady, and Yoo Seung Ho her leading man. The historical drama takes place in the Joseon period. Seung Ho plays the crown prince who struggles for control over powerful and wealthy organizations over the water supply. The show will be airing in the first half of 2017.
