"Night Light" offers a new perspective on drama, which discusses business and political intrigue. The drama has a very interesting story about revenge and its cold-headed execution.
Since the premiere which aired on November 21, "Night Light" displayed a complicated intrigue in business politics. It has a similar vibe with the tvN 2014 drama "Misaeng" which has been successful to gain both Korean and international viewers.
However, unlike "Misaeng" which contained no romance at all, "Night Light" which aired on the public broadcast TV need the elements of romance to be able to get a high audience. Especially with the additional love triangle.
Writer Han Ji-Hoon has prepared the characters which may end up entangled in the complicated love triangle. According to Entertainment Today, two female characters Yi-Kyung and Se-Jin may have involved in the love triangle relationship with Gun-Woo.
Se-Jin was scouted by the cold headed business woman Yi-Kyung when she spotted Se-Jin in her company event. Yi-Kyung is a Japanese-born Korean who return to Korea to build her business, which can build a respected art gallery business within one year.
After their first encounter, Yi-Kyung assigned the skillful Se-Jin to clone the phone which belongs to her business rival's daughter to gain data. Se-Jin was able to execute the assignment successfully, and she was paid KRW 3 million (USD 3,000). From then on, Yi-Kyung took her in and made her a prodigy.
