Happyface Entertainment is going to re-debut their talented rookie girl group, Minx. All of the members of Minx are in a new girl group that Happyface will debut next year, Dream Catcher.
Dream Catcher consist of Minx members Sua, Siyeon, Dami, Yoo Hyeon, Ji-U and the new additions, Handong and Gahyeon. Minx debut did not leave an impact in the saturated kpop industry so that Happyface will try again with a new concept and a total rebranding.
According to Happyface Entertainment, Dream Catcher is going to be different from Minx. Minx debuted in 2014 with "Why Did You Come To My Home?" and followed it up with "Love Shake." Dream Catcher, based on their teasers, will be more mysterious and chill compared to hyper and energetic Minx.
Happyface has finished releasing individual day teasers for all the seven members. They are now releasing night teasers.
Kpopmap has released most teaser pictures of all the members. There are two individual teasers each concept. They release two teasers for day concept and two teaser photos for night concept. So far, they have released night teaser pictures for five members.
The teaser pictures are very contrasting as the first batch ahs a more pure and innocent vibes while the night teasers are more sexy and chic. Happyface entertainment said that Dream Catcher will have different concepts and will show a variety of colors with each of their releases.
Their mysterious trailer video is the proof to that statement. The video has a gloomy feel and has many weird and aesthetic cuts. It also features all of the seven members.
They have also finished filming the debut music video of Dream Catchers with actor Cha Donghyuk. The actor posted on his Instagram his support for the upcoming girl group.
