GFRIEND returns this season with cuteness overload as they teamed up with the cute characters of the all-time favorite cute pocket monsters of Pokemon.
As reported by All Kpop, GFRIEND just released their MV for their official sound track of the South Korean release of "Pokemon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel." The song is entitled "Letter Inside Pocket" which unleashes the signature powerful vocals yet cute melody of GFRIEND.
The girls of GFRIEND has officially released the audio track of "Letter Inside Pocket, " and they also made an official music video for the song. Check the MV below.
Kpop Starz also wrote on November that GFRIEND's OST is said to be the closing theme for the movie adaptation of the well-loved animé. Aside from this, in an earlier teaser, Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, ShinB, and Umji are seen dancing with the life-sized Pikachus. Fans would be in for some aegyo overload in watching the MV.
The six girls of GFRIEND are also chosen to be the official ambassadors of Pokemon in South Korea. Good thing, the girls admitted that they are fans of the cute characters of the said animé.
"Letter Inside Pocket" is GFRIEND's gift to their fans this Christmas season as most fans missed seeing them on stage. Their last comeback was in July when they released "Navillera." This song gained them their first music show win and made them nominated and even won some awards in the recently concluded award giving bodies in South Korea such as the Melon Music Awards.
