Entering the final two weeks of the "Entourage" the drama has failed to maintain the ratings. Since the good start in its premiere, its ratings continue to plummet and stay around 1 percent or below.

"Entourage" has been one of the most anticipated drama in 2016. A month before its airing, the drama has broken the record in the Korean drama to be the first drama ever broadcasted to nine different countries in Asia. Its second-week episode started to crumble as reported by AsiaE and touched below 1 percent. Afterward, its ratings have never got better until now.

Last week's "Entourage" Episode 12 ratings plunged again to 0.9 percent as reported by JTBC News after climbed to 1 percent in the previous episode. There are some three reasons which play an important role in the failure of the drama.

The number one reason is its cultural approach. Since tvN purchased the right to make an adaptation of the original HBO series of "Entourage," the TV station has enough time to adapt the series to the Korean culture. However, the writer Seo Jae-Won failed to adapt the Hollywood culture to the Korean entertainment culture.

Second reason is the lack of strong casts. Only Cho Jin-Woong who can portray the agent Eun-Gab in his style and differentiate from the Ari Gold character in the original series. Seo Kang-Joon and other casts were not able to make their interpretation to their characters.

The last reason is the male-oriented story. Most Korean drama viewers are a female audience. Therefore, they would not want to watch the group of grown men walk around and show off their ego.

Those three factors are the main reasons "Entourage" failed to perform in the ratings despite its great hype. Meanwhile watch the sneak-peek of episode 13 which to air on December 16, 2016, below:
