Uhm Jung-Hwa will return to music after 8 years!

Korean diva Uhm Jung-Hwa has finished her recording and finalized the new album in her effort to return to music industry. The album is scheduled to release after Christmas on Dec. 27.

According to YTN News, she said that her new album will show her original music that she wanted to do for some times. Her passion for music remain strong with her new album which consist of nine tracks.

"I wanted to show that I am. Uhm Jung-Hwa has not finished,” she said. “Although it takes some time, but I am happy to do what I want to do in the album.”

The new album is the 10th album from one of the most famous Korean diva. The elder sister of actor Uhm Tae-Woong is regarded as one of the most influential person in Korean showbiz industry. Her return is a testament of her longetivity after 33 years of her long career.

Uhm’s new album is titled “The Cloud Dream of the Nine” according to report from Korea Herald. The four songs will be released earlier before the album. She will also perform in the 2016 SBS Awards Festival on Dec. 26.

The 47-year old singer and actress debuted in 1993 with hits album “Sorrowful Secret” which produced so many hits singles. Her success was followed by her next two albums “Uhm Jung Hwa 2” and “Afterlove.” Her dance style and sensual performance has also catapulted her popularity.

She changed her image to become more mature in her fourth album “Invitation.” One of today’s Korean showbiz personality Kim Jong-Min, who is now famous as a cast member of “1 Night 2 Days” was one of her backup dancer.

Uhm also took an acting project in between her music activities. After her last album in 2008 “Disco” she starred in 11 movies and guest star in two dramas. She is also a good actress which was able to keep up with acclaimed actor Hwang Jung-Min in the movie “Dancing Queen” in 2011.
