S.E.S bring the fans to take the trip down memory lane in reunion concert

The first generation idol group S.E.S. brought their fans to the trip down memory lane in their reunion concert on Dec. 30. The concert hall was crowded with 2,000 fans who waited for the return of the most favorite girl group in the late 1990’s.

S.E.S. followed their two peers, the first generation idol groups g.o.d. and Sech Kies which recently reunited. The reunion concert of S.E.S. was held at Sejong University Ocean Hall in Eastern Seoul on Dec. 30 and 31. The fans filled the 2,000 seats in the University’s concert hall.

Three-member girl group performed 21 songs in a three-hour show. They opened the show with "Dreams Come True" from their second album “Sea & Eugene & Shoo” released in 1998, according to report by Zenith News. The fans waved their purple-colored glowing sticks as the concert began.

Bada, Eugene and Shoo They still show good endurance after 17 years of hiatus. From the three of them, only Bada who is still active in music, while Eugene is now known as an actress and Shoo is the housewife taking care of her three children, one son and a twin daughter, Ra-Yool and Ra-Hee from her marriage with a former professional basketball player Im Hyo-sung.

Both Eugene and Shoo brought their children to the show. Eugene brought her daughter Lo-Hee who was also one of the childstar of “The Return of Superman” variety show. While Bada is still single.

S.E.S. has also released their new album titled “Remember” this Monday Jan.2, culminating their reunion and the 20th year anniversary of their debut in 1997. They have released two singles prior to the album, the titular ballad “Remember” on New Year’s day and the dance track “Paradise” a day after.
