The front runner of the Korean idol girl groups S.E.S. has released two teaser videos which will be included in their new album. They also prepared to hit the stage in the year-end event as a prelude events.
S.E.S. will release the first single on Jan.1, 2017 as reported by Seoul Daily News with the ballad titled “Remember.” Their agency SM Entertainment has released a teaser of the music video below:.
After the first single "Remember" they will release the second one the next day along with their new album. The second single “Paradise” is presented in the new-jack swing tune according to report from Korea Daily. The song reminisces the golden days of R&B and new-jack swing in the late 1990’s.
The trio was formed in 1997 to capitalize the great vocal of Bada, whose real name is Choi Sung-Hee. Two other members Shoo and Eugene was added. The name of the group S.E.S. is the acronym of their name Bada (which means sea in Korean), Eugene and Shoo.
They swept the music landscape of the 1990’s to early 2000’s with their great vocal performance and dance tune. SM Entertainment later disbanded the group after a year of inactivity in 2003.
Next year, to celebrate their 20th year in the music industry, S.E.S. reunited. They have released their single "Love Story" last month, on the exact same day the group release their first album “I'm Your Girl” on Nov. 28, 1997.
The trio will also perform in the two nights year-end performance in the concert titled “Remember the day.” The concert is scheduled to be held at the Sejong University in Eastern Seoul on Dec. 30 and 31.
