‘Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim’ Ends With The Highest Audience Rating Ever! Other TV Dramas Overly Hyped?

For a TV drama to be well-viewed, marketing is indeed a much-needed factor for it. This may not seem to be for "Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim." To take note, it was reported to get the ever highest audience rating which even surpassed "The Legend of the Blue Sea" and "Doctors." Now, the biggest wonder is whether the other dramas alongside it are just overhyped or people simply loved Han Suk Kyu and Kim Hye Soo.

According to Soompi, "Nielsen Korea on January 18, the prequel episode scored nationwide ratings of 27 percent. This is only 0.6 percent behind the drama's highest viewership ratings, recorded during the final episode that aired on January 16." It only means that really a lot of people tuned in and they all waited for the most-awaited comeback of Kim Hye Soo at Dol Dam Hospital.

In another report, Inquistr reveals that "Among all other K-dramas airing on Korean public television, it was king as it dominated in viewership even surpassing the overly hyped and promoted The Legend of the Blue Sea." Supposedly, the marketing of the said TV drama helped a lot for its rating though it still fell short with "Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim." Definitely, it's all about a strong storyline to grip more audience and build an empire of drama.

Moving along, "Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim" cast were indeed above the clouds for their success and they showed their appreciation through self-written love letters for their fans. Everyone simply gathered in a picture and snap it with them. Now, people are clamoring for the news of a possible second season. At the moment, SBS is still mum regarding it though a strong indication of Kang Dong Joo and Yoon Seo Jung spin-off is in the air.

In all, the fans of the most-viewed TV drama "Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim" experienced a great experience watching it and if it will be renewed is something to look forward to. For more updates, stay tuned in KpopStarz.
