‘Inkigayo’ Not Airing On January 29! Why Are Emcees Kim Min Suk, Gong Seung Yeon, Twice’s Jungyeon Stepping Down?

In the latest news, SBS "Inkigayo" just announced that they will not be broadcasting on the January 29th in time for the Lunar New Year. While Kim Min Suk, Gong Seung Yeon, and Twice's Jungyeon are also said to leave the show as well, new emcees will supposedly continue the show on its comeback.

All over the year, more than a dozen of failures and successes already happened in SBS' "Inkigayo." Indeed, it is already a home fort of talent for almost all South Korean idols like the three Kim Min Suk, Gong Seung Yeon and Twice's Jungyeon. As it welcomes season after another, new emcees were welcomed and it's now time for another new beginning to blossom in the show.

"The show will not be airing on January 29 because of the Lunar New Year holidays. It will come back to its regular broadcast a week after on February 5." This is the latest news that's circulating on the web at this moment. Accordingly, "Inkigayo" is taking a break to give way for everyone to spend time with their families this coming holiday break.

Although, the most shocking right now is the most recent announcement that Kim Min Suk, Gong Seung Yeon, and Twice's Jungyeon will be leaving "Inkigayo" as soon as it immediately resumes on February 5. "The last broadcast with them will be on the 22nd. and we'll use the break during the Lunar New Year holiday to find the new MCs," a source unveiled about the step-down.

In explanation, Kim Min Suk, Gong Seung Yeon, and Twice's Jungyeon will seemingly conclude their journey with "Inkigayo" to make way for better developments in their careers this coming 2017. Lastly, the fans will just need to wait for the most favorite talent show for them to know who's going to be the new thrilling emcees.
