Park Hyung Sik or simply Hyung Sik is on a hunt for a new agency after separating from Star Empire Entertainment. The former ZE: A member is reportedly considering United Artists Agency a.k.a UAA as his new home.
The said agency may not be one of the top entertainment companies in South Korea as it was only launched in 2012, but it is home to some of the big Korean stars such as Song Hye Kyo and Yoo Ah-in.
According to Naver, the agency also expressed their interest in the 25-year-old singer and actor. A representative from UAA confirmed that they held a meeting with him. However, Park Hyung Sik and the agency have not progressed to signing a contract.
The report further stated that the actor was thinking of signing an exclusive contract with UAA. It happened after his contract with Star Empire Entertainment got terminated.
Meanwhile, Soompi noted that Park Hyung Sik is also considering Keyeast Entertainment. That said, it appears that the now-free agent has many options for joining a new agency.
Park Hyung Sik is gaining so much attention for his role in the 2017 K-Drama "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," where he plays Ahn Min-hyuk. He portrays the CEO of Airsoft, a gaming company.
Just recently, Hyung Sik transformed from Ahn Min-hyuk to Min Sook, his female version. It was part of the scene where Do Bong Soon (Park Bo Young) dreams that Ahn Min Hyuk has a female version seducing In Gook Doo (Ji Soo).
Because of Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young's strong chemistry plays a huge role in the drama's high viewership. It is expected to become as popular as the recently concluded "Goblin," Stars Post reported.
"Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" airs on JTBC every Friday and Saturday. The drama will air until April 2017 after 16 episodes.
