With only a month left before Sandara Park's first major movie "One Step," the SNS savvy 2NE1 member has finally released the full teaser. On her official Twitter account, Sandara shared the Naver link to the much anticipated trailer.
Upon posting the Twitter, the tweet was immediately retweeted by 1,700 of her followers and liked by 5,000 Twitter users. Sandara's fans praised the former 2NE1 member for exceptional vocals as she performed the theme song.
Aside from posting the link to the trailer, Sandara also made sure to post the official poster of "One Step" as well as the character descriptions to give her fans an idea about the movie. The movie is expected to be a loose adaptation of Hollywood movie "Begin Again" starring Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo.
Based on "One Step's" synopsis, the story will evolve around the character of Si Hyun (Sandara Park), a girl who figures in a car accident which causes her to lose her memories. However, she is able to see sounds and colors and is haunted by an unfinished melody in her sleep. Jee Il, a failed songwriter to be played by actor Han Jae Suk, will help her unlock her memories by completing the song. Hong Ahn Reum will play musician Ji won, who will bring the two characters together.
"One Step" is expected to perform well in the box office because this is the first time that Sandara Park will star in a leading role in a film, after starring in several successful web series. As a testatment to the strong support for the former 2NE1 singer, the crowdfunding drive to get the film started earned 50 percent of it's target amount in the space of two hours and met the goal within 24 hours, Kpopstarz reported.
Adding to the excitement for One Step is the involvement of acclaimed director Juhn Jai-hong, who is also responsible for films like "Beautiful" and "Poongsan" The film will be released by Finecut and is expected to come out this April, reported
