While most people dread having to take passport photos because they usually look drab and boring, it seems that former 2NE1 member Sandara Park is the exception to the rule. As one of the most active Korean celebrities on social media, her latest Twitter post has got her fans wondering whether she has found the fountain of youth.
Fans know Sandara Park to be one of the most engaging K-pop idols on social media, often sharing behind the scenes looks at her taping schedules and shoots, what she eats and random throwback photos. But even they were not prepared by Sandara's recent update.
In a Twitter post, Sandara shared two of her passport photos and captioned them noon at ngayon, which means before and now. In the first photo, Sandara can be seen sporting one of her adventurous hairstyles from her 2NE1 days along with a semi-retro look.
In the second photo, Sandara is sporting a more fresh-faced look with very minimal makeup, if she was even wearing any. She was also wearing her hair simply and back to its original black color.
Sandara's fans immediately filled the thread with their reactions. Most of her followers expressed belief that she was actually an alien who never aged while some praised her simple look for highlighting her natural beauty. Some fans were wondering how she seems to be aging backwards but there were also those could not help but compare her old hairstyle to that of a poodle.
Sandara has kept herself quite busy after the disbandment of 2NE1 last year after seven years together. After completing her stint as a judge in the reality show Pinoy Boy Band Superstar, the K-pop idol is now back in Korea and is now one of the MCs of OnStyle's "Get It Beauty." She also recently flew to Thailand to shoot for the summer campaign of Philippine clothing brand Penshoppe, Kpopstarz reported.
Sandara's film, "One Step", a loose adaptation of Hollywood movie "Begin Again" will also be released this April. It will be Sandara's first time to star as the lead actress of a full-length Korean movie which makes her fans quite excited.
