K-Pop Girl Groups Reveal Their Celebration Of White Day

In Korea, Valentine's Day goes the other way around as women are the ones who give gifts to men. However, after one month, which is on March 14, Koreans celebrate White Day.

White Day is a day when women are the ones receiving back candies and chocolates from the men, as they confess their love to the women they have chosen. GFriend celebrated the event last Tuesday with a bang, as they grabbed the first place in "The Show", a music contest TV program.

Thanks to GFriend's latest song, "Fingertip" she had took home a victory. "Fingertip" is the lead track of the group's latest album entitled, "The Awakening", which was released last March 6. The group also thanked Sowon, the group's fan club, due to their undying support to the members during the competition.

They also gave back the favor as they gave candies and chocolates to the fans and viewers who were present in the SBS studio. Meanwhile, Apink's Chorong and Eunji took the night out to eat ramen instead of candies and chocolates.

According to K-pop Herald, the two sported casual clothes as they went to a Japanese ramen restaurant. They also aired their dine-in live as they featured traditional Japanese noodles.

Then there's Hyojung who happily greeted her fans last March 14. Hyojung burst out in a happy and lively manner as she said that she is the gift because she is Candy-Hyojung.

She then adds that it was Hyojung-day. After Hyojung's emotionally vibrant message, she then says that she's more than happy to share her candies with others.

According to All K-pop, having a little bit of company would surely help. Reports also confirm that Hyojung is fond of eating strawberry-flavored lollipops when she was still in middle school.

With this, "Oh My Girl" will be launched this coming April. However, there are still no official confirmation as to when the exact release date will be.
