Fans are really wondering as to why Taeyeon stopped writing songs. Now, the reasons are finally unveiled. Taeyeon, of the hit girl group, Girls' Generation, has just appeared in "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook".
It is said that the upcoming episode will show Taeyeon getting to perform her recent track, "Fine", which is included inher very first album, "My Voice". It debuted last Feb. 28. In one of the interviews regarding her "My Voice" album, Taeyeon shares that the songs included in the album are all perfect to listen while driving.
She was also flattered in the interview as she was told that one of her fans described her voice as a genre. Taeyeon then further discussed as to why her album cover had two concepts which are named, decadent and dreamy.
She says that it's all about style and creativity while exposing different sides of herself. It is also worth noting that Taeyeon was also a successful songwriter with her previous song, "I".
This leads the interviewer to ask a question as to why she stopped writing songs, despite proving it to be a success. According to Korea Portal, Taeyeon says that she is already very sensitive in showing and expressing her ideas, emotions and thoughts to her songs.
With this, she prefers to keep her writing skills to herself as she wants to keep her thoughts personal. Perhaps there is an underlying issue about privacy and security, but for now, there is still no official confirmation about any serious reason as to why she stopped writing songs.
Whichever the case is, she prefers to not continue writing as of the moment. It has also been reported that she just wants to do what she does best for the meantime.
Taeyeon then ends the show gracefully as she performed Nell's song, "Time Spent Walking Through Memories".
