CNBLUE's new track "Between Us" from their seventh mini-album "7℃N" reportedly hitches a top spot on Billboard's chart. Billboard reported that the group landed at the number nine spot on the Twitter Top Tracks chart. Twitter Top Tracks ranks the most mentioned and shared tracks on the popular SNS site.
CNBLUE is ranked beside the globally renowned artists like Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran, and Bruno Mars, according to Soompi. The group's song "Between Us" is apparently about the early and unclear stages of a promising relationship. The tune features a casual and easy pop verse that blends with a stronger rock chorus. The resultant music accordingly adds a likable style to the track.
CNBLUE is a pop rock band formed 2009. CN is an initial for code name, while BLUE is for burning, lovely, untouchable, and emotional, and are meant to portray the images of its members. In Jan. 2010, the group debuted in Korea with the lead single "I'm a Loner" from their first Korean mini-album"Bluetory." The boys' fan club is called Boice.
CNBLUE's first live performance took place at the entrance of Shinjuku Station in Tokyo, Japan, in early 2009 with at least 20 other bands performing in the area. After that, the band began to perform on the streets and in live clubs. They reportedly released their debut Japanese mini-album "Now or Never in 2009". The mini-album was recorded completely in English but unfortunately failed to make a dent on the Oricon Albums Chart.
The band went on their 5th Anniversary Arena Tour with "Our Glory Days" in Nov. 2016. The concerts took place in five cities of Japan and accumulated a total 75,000 attendees with the group performing 22 songs at each concert. After almost a year from the release of "Blueming," CNBLUE did a comeback on March 20, 2017, with their 7th mini-album, 7°CN.
