G-Dragon News: Joe Jonas' DNCE Wants To Collaborate with BIG BANG Leader

BIG BANG leader G-Dragon is one of the most recognizable artists in the world and it comes as no surprise that even international artists are interested in collaborating with him. The latest artists who want to work with GD are none other than Joe Jonas' DNCE.

According to a report by SBS Pop Asia, DNCE expressed that G-Dragon is on top of the list of K-pop artists that they want to collaborate with during an interview with "One Night of TV Entertainment." The group unanimously agreed that G-Dragon would be a perfect collaborator.

DNCE, made up of members Joe Jonas, Jack Lawless, Cole Whittle, and Jin Joo Lee are known for their dance hits Cake by the Ocean and Toothbrush. Their music style could go quite well with G-Dragon's sound which range from pop, rock, dance and rap.

DNCE was not the first international artist to express an interest in working with K-pop idol. Last year, G-Dragon posted a snap on his Instagram about a possible collaboration between himself and Pharrell Williams, the singer/songwriter and producer behind hits like "Happy." The two artists met in Japan at a studio and may possibly working on a collaboration track, Soompi reported.

There were also snaps of the pair hanging out with designer Nigo and other people at the studio further fueling hope that the track may be featured in Pharrell's future album or G-Dragon's upcoming solo album. The BIG BANG leader is working on his own music and fashion line while the group is on a break owing to T.O.P's mandatory military enlistment. GD and Taeyang are expected to be the next in line for enlistment before Daesung and Seungri.

Pharrell and G-Dragon have been singing each other's praises for years with G-Dragon describing Pharrell as the artist he would like to work with the most. Pharrell also said that he wanted to work with G-Dragon and artist Mina Kwon.
