Further cementing his status as a global fashion icon is G-Dragon's latest collaboration with Nike for Nike Air Max Day. The BIG BANG leader headlined the campaign entitled "Kiss My Airs" for the international brand's major event.
According to a report by All K-pop, G-Dragon collaborated with Nike's campaign which showcased their latest line, the Vapormax with a series of freestyle poses that signifies fluidity of movement. There were also several shots of G-Dragon's hand, adorned with his signature nail polish, holding out the different shoes of the Vapormax line.
G-Dragon also appeared in several shots garbed with layers of Nike apparel, showcasing how the shoes can be flexible for athletes and fashioistas as well. GD was joined in the campaign by fellow international superstars like Neymar, MO, Ruby Rose, English Gardner, Chris Lee and Knox and runners from New York, Hypebeast reported.
G-Dragon, who was recently rumored to be dating f(x) Sulli, is currently busy recording for his solo album, according to his management YG Entertainment. The BIG BANG leader is also busy with his recently launched fashion and art line Peace Minus One.
It seems that the year will be quite busy for G-Dragon because of various commitments as an individual artist while BIG BANG is on a break due to T.O.P.'s mandatory military enlistment. It has earlier been reported that GD and Taeyang may also enlist for the military by this year or next year.
However, BIG BANG fans should not fret because the boys are set to release their 2017 BIG BANG Welcoming Collection DVD by March 29. The DVD set will feature the last time in a long while that G-Dragon, T.O.P., Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri will be together as a group as it was shot prior to T.O.P.'s enlistment. G-Dragon and Taeyang's albums are set for release in the first half of 2017 while Daesung will release his Japanese mini album D-Day this April and kick off his Japanese tour next month, Kpopstarz reported.
