Hyeri & Dream T Entertainment Gets Pranked On ‘The New Yang Nam Show’

Hyeri must be on an emotional roller coaster after getting pranked by TV show "The New Yang Nam Show". The Girl's Day member must have brought home 20 Million KRW if the production company didn't pull out a prank card out of it.

On April 6, Girl's Day was invited to Mnet's "New Yang Nam Show", Allkpop reported. The members were given lottery tickets as the prize of winning a quiz. Hyeri turned out to be the lucky one to win the 20 Million KRW prize. At first, she seemed unsure about it but then she asked the staff to check if she really won. The "Reply 1988" obviously laughed hysterically and was super excited after realizing that she could bring the tremendous amount of money to home.

Girl's Day agency, Dream T Entertainment, also confirmed that Hyeri won the lottery for real and it wasn't just a cheap prank the TV show pulled. Everyone was obviously shocked to find out about Hyeri's blind luck until a little while later, the agency released a statement that Hyeri's lottery winning was just a prank. Hyeri obviously wasn't the only one that got disappointed about the sudden misfortune. Apparently, the on-screen managers, as well as Girl's Day agency, were being targeted on this cruel prank.

While some people may probably have a good laugh watching Hyeri got pranked so hard, there are also some fans that think TV show had gone too far for pulling out that prank. The fans got so worried about Hyeri's condition after "The New Yang Nam Show" puts her on an emotional roller coaster. However, the agency makes sure that everything's under control and no hard feelings involved.

Meanwhile, Girl's Day has just marked their first milestone by scoring on Billboard's World Albums Chart. Their comeback mini-album "Everyday #5" is at the seventh spot on Billboard this week.
