Kim Jongmin Gained Weight After Winning Daesang Award: The Veteran In Variety Show Revealed The Reason

Kim Jong Min is a veteran in variety show. Even though he started his career as a singer, but he has been known more for his funny character in variety show. Recently, he talked about the reason of his gaining weight after winning Daesang.

After almost working for nine years in variety show "2 Days & 1 Night," Kim Jong Min finally got Daesang Award in 2016, Asiastarz reported. It was like the prize for his hard work. He has been in the show, giving laughter to everyone for nice years. Thus, he was so happy receiving the Grand Prize. After the event ended, Junho posted a picture of him and Jongmin on his instagram to celebrate the winning.

In the recent episode of "2 Days & 1 Night" which was aired on Apr. 23, PD gave comment on Jongmin saying that he gained some weight. Jongmin agreed to it and said that he gained weight after winning Daesang Award. He said that he drank much alcohol after winning the award, Soompi reported.

After gaining some weight, he went to the doctor to take the physical exam and the doctor said to him to lose seven kilograms. Hearing that, Donggu funnily commented that the doctor usually told people to gain some weight.

It has been a habit in South Korea to celebrate big day through drinking alcohol. Thus, viewers are not surprised hearing Jongmin's story. Meanwhile, "2 Days & 1 Night" has been at its peak after all members finally get together. Jung Joon Young was back after taking his break for his sex video scandal. Donggu is also showing promising show with his clumsy sport. All the line up with Cha Tae Hyun, Defcon, Junho and Jongmin, the variety show has been receiving much love.

Many fans of "2 Days & 1 Night" always want this show to last longer because this program is really funny. As for Jongmin, fans want him to date soon before he is getting older.
