JTBC's 'Ask Us Anything' Broke Previous Rating Record With Psy Guest

Psy just made his appearance in a variety show after five years in "Ask Us Anything." The show broke the previous highest rating with him as the guest.

Psy made his appearance on JTBC's "Ask Us Anything" on May 13. In this variety show, Psy performed his song "New Face." It was full of laughter when Heechul made fun of Psy. Also, there was a fight among members of the show to know the real Psy among them. It was recorded that the show got 6.99% ratings according to Nielson Korea. It was the highest score ever for the show, AllKpop reported.

Psy can make a huge impact on the show because of his popularity. Moreover, it was his first appearance in a variety show after five years and he decided to be the guest on "Ask Us Anything." Psy just made his comeback with his eighth album. His title track "New Face" has Apink's Naeun in the MV.

Psy used co-producer of "Gangnam Style" in his title track again. He wrote the lyrics for the "New Face" and it was composed by him and Yoo Gun Hyung, Soompi reported. For his eighth album, Psy worked with Zico, Taeyang, G-Dragon, and many more. Pikotaro who is known for his funny song "PPAP" also appeared in Psy's music video.

Psy has performed on SBS' "Inkigayo" to promote his album "4 x 2 = 8." He sang "I LUV IT" and "New Face." His comeback stage was full of applause from the viewers. For the title track "New Face," Psy chose Naeun to be in the music video.

Previously, Psy worked with HyunA in his song "Gangnam Style." For this comeback, Psy revealed his reason to choose Naeun. He said that Apink's Naeun was perfect for his song concept. Psy wanted something new and fresh for his music video and Naeun could fit in his song really well, Koreaboo reported.

Psy has made his first appearance after five years in a variety show. He is very entertaining and everyone cannot wait to see him more in variety shows.
