Running Man back in Kuala Lumpur for 2nd Fanmeeting Tour 2017

After almost three years have passed, RUNNING MAN finally were here again in Malaysia! Even though there were lots of rumors and things happened like the end of the show and poor ratings recently, Running Man members still managed to attract thousands of fans among all generations to join their Malaysia Fan Meeting last Saturday.

The Fan Meeting was held at the Malaysia International Exhibition and Convention Centre (MIECC) Seri Kembangan, featuring five stars of the South Korean variety show, namely Lee Kwang Soo, Kim Jong Kook, HaHa, Song Ji Hyo and Ji Suk Jin, entertaining the crowd with their lively song performances and many interactive games.

They began the performances with BIGBANG 'Fantastic Baby', with HaHa played his role as G Dragon, Kim Jong Kook as Taeyang, Lee Kwang Soo as Seungri, Ji Suk Jin as Daesung and even Song Ji Hyo as TOP. They nailed their performances and made all the fans felt like they were really in Big Bang Concert for a while.

"Thank you very for your love and support all this while. It's really great to be back here" said Kim Jong Kook as addressing the screaming fans right after they finished their performances.

The first segment saw all the cast members playing two games with 10 lucky fans, where they re-enacted popular K-drama scenes and jumped rope in pairs, both of the games as expected gave such hilarious results to all crowds. Ji Suk Jin and Kim Jong Kook drew two of popular K-Drama Goblin scenes while Song Ji Hyo drew an 'umbrella scene' from Temptation of Wolves Drama. The laugh of the crowds then became more loud when Lee Kwang Soo re-enacted 'let me tie your shoes' scene from the most popular K-Drama last year, Descendant of the Sun.

Right after the games ended, they began their song performances with Lee Kwang Soo warms everyone heart with a cover of Baek Ji Young's ballad, That Woman. Ji Suk Jin also surprised all the fans with his good vocals when he performed You Are My Everything, soundtrack of K-drama, Descendants of the Sun; and John Legend's All Of Me.

Kim Jong Kook also melts everyone's heart when he performed Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber's Love Yourself and his own hit, One Man. Instead of singing, Song Ji Hyo opted to deliver dance covers of K-Pop girl group Apink's Mr Chu and Park Ji Young's Who's Your Mama? together with Ji Suk Jin and Lee Kwang Soo. Last but not least, HaHa also sang his 'Don't Laugh' song energetically which drew loud scream from the crowd.

Our Running Man Brothers, Kim Jong Kook and HaHa also danced to Mars' 24k Magic, then with Korean hip-hop group BTS' hit, Fire joined by Ji Suk Jin, Song Ji Hyo and Lee Kwang Soo. After they finished their performances, the organizer presented them with special cake made by fans and also a heart touching fan-made video showing most of their scene in Running Man and ended the video with "I'll be there always," which mean we (Fans) will always be here for you (Running Man) and let's run together 'till the end.

The show has not ended yet as the encore comprised upbeat performances of Kim Jong Kook's classic Loveable, HaHa's hit Busan Vacance, and a cover of PSY's Champion. Marking Running Man's second Fan Meeting in Malaysia, the event also featured performances by guest artistes such as Korean Reggae Star Skull, Korean Pop Singer Se7en and Taiwan-based local singer Victor Wong.

Malaysia is the final stop for the Asian leg of the Running Man Fan Meeting tour, covering Taiwan, Macau, Hong Kong and Thailand.
