Despite being former castmates in the variety show "Running Man," Yoo Jae Suk found out the hard way how difficult it was to get in touch with Song Joong Ki. Has this been because Song Joong Ki has become a famous star since "Descendants of the Sun?" Yoo Jae Suk could not stand it so he called up Joong Ki's best friend Lee Kwangsoo to find out why the star wasn't picking up his calls.
According to a report by All Kpop, Yoo Jae Suk, Kim Yong Man and Seok Jin were given the task of contacting three high-profile celebrities -- Jo In Sung, Gong Yoo and Song Joong Ki in an episode of "Happy Together 3." The three actors were selected by the viewers as the top celebrities they want to see on the show as guests.
Thinking he had the advantage because of his friendship with the "Descendants of the Star" actor, Yoo Jae Suk immediately tried Song Joong Ki's number on the phone. However, after a long wait, he realized that the actor was not going to pick up his call.
This led Yoo Jae Suk to call Song Joong Ki's best friend and also a fellow "Running Man" castmate Lee Kwangsoo to explain why it was so hard to get hold of Song Joong Ki. "Kwang Soo yah, Joong Ki's not answering the phone right now. Can you call him and ask why he's not answering?"
Amid the hilarity, Kim Yong Man took the opportunity to ask Lee Kwangsoo for Jo In Sung's number. Lee Kwangsoo is also known to be good friends with the "The King" actor.
It can be recalled that on a recent episode of "Running Man," Lee Kwangsoo was able to get hold of both Song Joong Ki and Jo In Sung on the phone to enlist their help in accomplishing a mission. Kwangsoo needed both of the actors' autographs to trade for a sofa from his father. Song Joong Ki immediately agreed and even expressed worry over how he was going to get the signature to his friend but Jo In Sung made Kwangsoo squirm a little and had a little fun with him before eventually giving him the autograph, Kpopstarz reported.
