SISTAR has been hit with the "7-Year Jinx" that hit even the most successful girl group. One concrete example is 2NE1 who disbanded earlier this year.
Meanwhile, SISTAR just dropped a music video teaser for their final track "Lonely." The MV teaser was dropped on Tuesday, May 29, as reported by Soompi.
SISTAR flew to Macau on Wednesday, May 17 to film the music video. Filming started on May 18 and finished on May 20. Member Dasom flew to Korea ahead of time for the filming of her SBS drama "Sister is Alive."
SISTAR's "Lonely" is reportedly written by Black Eyed Pilseung. The production group is behind SISTAR's hit 2016 track "I Like That".
SISTAR similarly dropped a special clip titled "Thank you, Goodbye" on Tuesday, May 23 on the group's official Twitter account. The minute-long video clip featured an acrostic poem that corresponded with each letter of "SISTAR."
The video clip was also accompanied by hand-written letters written by SISTAR members themselves. The letters contained the members' gratitude for their fans, and as well as their hope for the fans to continue supporting them in the future.
SISTAR debuted in 2010 with the song "Push Push". The group is widely known for their tracks "So Cool," "Loving U", and the 2016 summer hit "Touch My Body."
SISTAR members Hyorin and Soyou will be continuing their singing careers. Meanwhile, Dasom and Bora will be pursuing acting.
