The boys of EXO have quite the dedicated fan following as fans from North Korea are risking their lives to tweet about their recent comeback and teasers.
We all know that North Korea is one strict, regimen-oriented country, with lots of restrictions, limitations, and propaganda against the U.S.A and South Korea. Recently, since the announcement of EXO's comeback and their trending worldwide status, a map was revealed showing the locations that helped boost them towards this achievement. The results were shocking!
According to other media outlets, "Out of all of the lights, the red light is seen glowing in Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea, as well as several other cities of the country." It appears North Koreans have found access to not only Twitter but also South Korean news and entertainment, which is banned in North Korea. A person can be sentenced to 10 years of hard labor for coming in contact with the restricted content.
Fans of EXO and netizens revealed their amazement towards the EXO fans in North Korea. One comment read, "It's amazing enough that they're on social media in North Korea but it's more surprising how there are fans of EXO." What do you think about North Korean fans? Crazy or worth it?
